Neeru Mittal

Neeru studied interdisciplinary science at IISER-Mohali, India and was awarded with her BS-MS dual degree in 2017. She has a background in chemistry and completed summer internships in various fields like organometallic synthesis and catalysis (Dr. Sanjay Singh), modeling electronic properties of low-dimensional materials (Prof. S. Ramasesha), theory in Solid State NMR Spectroscopy (Dr. Ramesh Ramachandran) and electrospinning substrates for DESI mass spectrometry (Prof. T. Pradeep). During her master’s project, she worked on the synthesis of functional nanomaterials to be used as heterogeneous catalysts for various organic reactions (Dr. Ujjal k. Gautam).

Neeru's current research focus lies on the development of degradable energy storage devices!
