New member: Fabian Matter
We are happy to welcome Fabian, our new PhD student who will work on nanoparticle-based aerogels!
Fabian studied Interdisciplinary Science at the ETH Zurich and graduated in 2017 with a Master's Degree majoring in Chemistry and Materials Science. During his studies, he worked in several research groups on topics such as homogeneous catalysis (Prof. A. Togni), two-dimensional polymers (Prof. A. D. Schlüter), water splitting devices (Prof. M. Niederberger) and he recently completed his studies with his Master's thesis on Anode Materials for Potassium-Ion Batteries at the EMPA in Dübendorf (Prof. M. Kovalenko).
Fabian is now a PhD student in our group working on the synthesis of nanoparticle-based aerogels for the use in gas phase reactions. Welcome!
