Susanna studied at the University of Padua, where she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology (2019) and her Master’s degree in Industrial Biotechnology (2022). Her master’s thesis project focused the algae-mediated biosynthesis of inorganic nanostructures. She carried out her thesis work in the Wet Chemistry and Colloids Group of Prof. Silvia Gross at the Department of Chemical Sciences (University of Padua), where she was also a Graduate Research Fellow.

In January 2023, Susanna joined our group to start her PhD on chiral inorganic nanoparticle-based aerogels for asymmetric photocatalysis.
